Laura Petty, Community Corrections Director, told the Daviess County Advisory Board on June 3 that the 2027 IDOC grant applications have been submitted and the board expects award notifications between June 26 and June 29. "She will be notified between June 26 -June 29 regarding the awards," the minutes state.
Petty said the agency applied for the same funding amount as the prior year and that any awarded funds will trigger revisions to both the IDOC grant budgets and the county budget to keep submissions consistent. Revised budgets connected to those awards are due by July 27, she said.
