Blue Lake’s participation would include a $1,000 match and reimbursement of staff time up to $8,000.
Staff described the consultant schedule and deliverables: an administrative draft due in October, a draft plan by January 2027 and a final plan by April 2027. Staff argued participation is important so Blue Lake’s transit needs — such as access for seniors and residents without cars — are identified for future funding allocations. Councilmember Bayless moved and the council approved authorizing the city manager to execute the MOU by voice vote.
