Council approves vacation of drainage and utility easements for Warner Avenue properties

City Engineer Nick Guilliams presented a petition from property owners to vacate plat‑dedicated drainage and utility easements at 641 and 645 Warner Avenue South and described an administrative lot line adjustment transferring a small portion of property from 645 to 641. Staff recommended approval, stating the new easements to be dedicated as part of the adjustment will be sufficient to meet city requirements.
Brock Herlick, owner at 645 Warner Avenue South, told the council the transfer was to increase his daughter's parcel size: "they are giving a small piece of their property to their daughter to increase the size of her parcel." Following the public hearing, the council unanimously approved Resolution No. 2026-23.
