Council discusses grant opportunities, logo contest and adding replacement fee for dog licenses

Councilwoman Promise Miller reported she had spoken with Vaughn Zenko about the "Grid United" grant and suggested applying for a new well; Zenko offered to help with the application.
Councilwoman Miller also said she had forgotten to include a replacement cost for a lost or damaged dog license in a prior motion and asked the council to consider amending the licensing fees to add a replacement charge. The council agreed the logo contest entries would remain anonymized until judging is complete and noted the deadline for entries is Jan. 1, 2025.
