At its Feb. 19 meeting the Board approved routine business items including minutes from Jan. 29 and Feb. 5, the consent agenda (which included staffing reports and resolutions recognizing Read Across America Day and Arts Education Month), and cast its 2025 CSBA Region V Delegate Assembly ballot.
Minutes for the Jan. 29 Governance Workshop and the Feb. 5 Regular Board Meeting were each approved after motions and seconds; both votes were five in favor with one absent (O’Neill). The consent agenda passed with the same 5-0 tally and included adoption of Joint Resolutions No. 25-10 (recognizing March 2, 2025 as Read Across America Day) and No. 25-11 (recognizing March 2025 as Arts Education Month/Youth Art Month). The Board also cast its CSBA Region V Delegate Assembly ballot, approving three recommended candidates (Gregory Land, Andrew Lie, Francesca Segre).
Separately, the Board adopted Resolution No. 25-12 implementing Board Policy 9250 to compensate Board Member Susan Alvaro for her absence from the Feb. 5 meeting due to illness. That resolution passed with four in favor, one recusal (Alvaro), and one absent (O’Neill).
