The Osceola County Board voted June 23 to transfer $100,000 from the General Basic Fund to the Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Fund effective July 1, 2026 (Resolution #32 24/26). The action was approved by unanimous vote.
Earlier in the meeting the Board also held a public hearing on an interfund loan extension between the general supplemental fund and the flex spending fund; no written or oral comments were received and the Board approved extending that interfund loan until June 30, 2027. Both actions were recorded as motions and carried by the full Board.
The $100,000 transfer is intended to seed or supplement the EMS fund for operations; the minutes do not specify further program-level allocations. The Auditor’s Office keeps the formal resolution text and funding agreement on file.
