Osceola County ratifies FY26/27 staff appointments and salary schedule

Conservation Executive Director Nick Schmalen was listed at $73,296. The record also lists dozens of hourly rates for ambulance personnel, secondary road equipment operators and other positions (for example, several EMS paramedic and EMT rates in the $20–$22-per-hour range and multiple secondary road equipment operator rates around $30–$32 per hour). The motion excluded appointments not yet received.
Supervisor Schulte moved the approval and the motion carried unanimously. The appointments establish pay and title for the fiscal year and will govern payroll processing under the adopted budget appropriations.
