The superintendent said the directory is opt‑in for parents and that the Raptor rollout separates general volunteers from those needing extended clearance.
The board was also briefed on literacy screening plans: kindergarten through fifth grade will complete one‑on‑one DIBELS/inClass assessments for foundational reading skills across roughly 150 students, with summary results and a fuller reading data presentation planned for a future meeting. Board members welcomed the screening and the new engagement tools and asked staff to return with any implementation updates or data.
