Board approves three part-time jailer/dispatcher hires, terminates one probationary part-time hire

County Coordinator Kelly Thongvivong reported several interviews for part-time jailer/dispatcher positions and recommended hiring Christian Cazarez-Sanchez, Lacy Freitag and Noah Ulmaniec contingent upon successful completion of all hiring requirements. Commissioner Donna Gravley moved and Commissioner Larry Anderson seconded the hires; the board voted unanimously to approve the conditional hires.
Thongvivong also reported that a probationary part-time jailer/dispatcher would be terminated. Commissioner Tom Appel moved and Commissioner Wayne Maras seconded a motion to terminate Alisha Giesselmann (part-time jailer/dispatcher) effective Jan. 28, 2025; the board approved the termination unanimously. The minutes record the hires as contingent and the termination date as Jan. 28, 2025.
