Auditor/Treasurer Carolyn Rempel told the board the Mt. Lake Golf Course had provided required information and payment to accept its liquor license renewal application; the board accepted the renewal (motion by Appel, second by Maras). Rempel also reported that Midway Township voters approved Sunday liquor sales in the November 2024 election, requiring the county to set a fee for county Sunday liquor licenses. Commissioner Donna Gravley moved and Commissioner Larry Anderson seconded a motion to set the county fee for Sunday liquor licenses at $200; the motion passed unanimously.
The Mt. Lake Golf Course submitted an application to add Sunday liquor sales, and the board accepted that application (motion by Maras, second by Appel). The minutes record acceptance of the applications and the fee decision but do not list license issuance dates or additional license conditions.
