Chief Robert Evans summarized department activity for January and February 2026: January recorded 848 calls for service, 12 reportable accidents and 87 traffic citations; February recorded 860 calls for service, 7 reportable accidents and 74 traffic citations. Chief Evans reported training milestones for newly appointed corporals who attended POSIT supervisor training and that Officer Maryanski completed field training and was placed on the schedule as a probationary officer.
Chief Evans also noted the department will participate in the DEA Drug Takeback Program on April 25, 2026 (10 a.m.–2 p.m.) at the Douglass Township Police Department and that the department "will be wearing mourning bands on their badges acknowledging the ultimate sacrifice of Officer O'Connor during a routine traffic stop." The minutes say the takeback will accept controlled and non-controlled medications, liquids/creams in packaging, but not vape pens, syringes/sharps, or illegal substances.
