San Pasqual Valley Unified board elects officers in reorganization

At its Dec. 9 meeting the San Pasqual Valley Unified Board elected a full slate of officers under revised Board Bylaw 9100; Cody Hartt was nominated for president in a vote recorded as five ayes and one abstention, and Ms. Owl and Ms. Delgadillo were elected vice president and clerk respectively.
The San Pasqual Valley Unified School District Board of Trustees completed its annual reorganization at the Dec. 9 meeting, electing a full slate under Board Bylaw 9100.
Ms. Delgadillo moved to elect a full slate and Mr. Derma seconded; the motion carried unanimously. In subsequent nominations, Ms. Owl nominated Cody Hartt for board president and the motion carried with five ayes and one abstention (Hartt). Ms. Owl was nominated and elected vice president, and Ms. Delgadillo was elected clerk, each with motions and seconds recorded by board members.
The reorganization was handled during the early portion of the meeting and was recorded as part of routine order-of-business proceedings. The board will continue with its regular meeting schedule and committee assignments under the newly confirmed officer slate.
