Committee members and staff discussed whether the OHV Park should host night riding sessions when hot weather is anticipated. Joe Toste asked about ordinances allowing recreational OHV use after dark; Debra Strickland answered that no specific ordinances are in place. "Needs to be run by BOCC in advance so the public can be made aware," Jimmy Martinez said when asked about making night operations official.
Britt Davis emphasized scheduling based on sunset and suggested Saturday nights for logistics, while Joe Steidl proposed trying an early-morning ride day as an alternative to late-night operation to avoid heat. No change to park operating hours was adopted at the meeting; staff indicated any change would require BOCC review and public notification.
