Water well bid launched and Valley Electric funding noted for fairgrounds infrastructure

Committee staff said they are assembling the package for a water well at the OHV Park and that the bid process for well construction has begun. "Still working on putting the package together for the water well," Debra Strickland said, and Jimmy Martinez added that the bid for construction of the well has started.
Strickland also reminded members that Valley Electric Association has offered $1,000,000 toward fairgrounds infrastructure; committee discussion focused on moving forward with procurement and site-preparation tasks so water and electrical service can be delivered as needed.
