During liaison comments on April 2, Debra Strickland told the committee that the OHV Commission has a new grants website and that county commissioners will consider operations budgeting for the OHV Park.
Strickland said "$1,000,000.00 of funding potentially available from NDOR (Nevada Division of Outdoor Recreation), but eligibility to apply still needs further investigation." Committee members were not presented with eligibility criteria at the meeting and the item was framed as an update rather than a finalized funding commitment.
