"The carryover balance was corrected from $114,844.00 to $77,831.00, bringing the budget into balance at $940,227.00 total," Foster said. Commissioners questioned whether budgeted grant carryover assumptions were realistic; Foster and commissioners agreed to present an updated, corrected budget for formal approval the following Monday. Commissioners also discussed pursuing a November levy; Foster confirmed the filing deadline is August 28 and that a consultant's preliminary campaign estimate had been provided.
