Lyon County commissioners approve Aug. 15 warrants, payroll and personnel changes

Ken Duft, Lyon County Commission chairman, opened the Aug. 15, 2025 Action Session and the board quickly moved through routine financial business. The commission approved warrants payable for Aug. 15, 2025 in the amount of $341,145.90 (motion by Commissioner Chris Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Doug Peck), payroll payable of $380,165.89 (Duft/Bartel) and payroll withholdings payable of $524,275.27 (Duft/Peck); each motion passed 3-0.
The board also reviewed and voted to accept personnel and payroll changes for the week of Aug. 15, 2025. The motion to accept the personnel and payroll changes passed 3-0 (Peck/Bartel). No appointments or permits were recorded at the Aug. 15 session. The meeting record notes Controller Dan Williams was absent for the session.
