The Selectboard returned from a closed executive session at 7:15 p.m. on July 23 after meeting to discuss matters related to the interim town manager. Mr. Todd told the room he had discussed the matter with Town Manager Brandon Gulnick prior to the July 21 meeting and acknowledged a miscommunication between himself and Gulnick about how that prior conversation had been represented.
A member of the public, Michael Creighton, said Gulnick had told him "this was a complete surprise." Mr. Todd said that account was incorrect and apologized for the miscommunication. The Board explained the executive session had been conducted under 1 V.S.A. § 313 (1) (3) and that further public-facing information about the related complaints would be released on Monday, July 27, 2026.
