Road Agent Russ Hilliard reported the town lacks sufficient funds to both pave the remainder of Nason Road and repair the Drinkwater Road culvert. Hilliard told the board "there are not enough funds to pave the remainder of Nason Rd and fix the Drinkwater Road culvert" and estimated that "to pave a portion of Nason Rd is $60k+."
The board approved a $13,371 core services invoice for the Road Agent by unanimous vote. Hilliard also reported the planting of a 250th anniversary tree and noted resident requests to remove additional trees, while the tree budget is currently negative; Selectman Lane suggested reallocating excess in other line items to address tree removals if needed.
