Councilmember Jennifer Jackson moved and Councilmember Lauren Dayton seconded introduction and first reading of Ordinance No. 26-01, "An Ordinance of the Borough of Tenafly…to create a new AHO-9 Affordable Housing Overlay Zone District." The borough clerk read the ordinance into the record and the council set January 27, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. at the Tenafly Municipal Center for a public hearing.
On roll call, Councilmembers Jamie Corsair, Lauren Dayton, Dr. Julie O’ Connor and Jennifer Jackson voted "aye." Councilmembers Adam Michael and John Roglieri were recorded as absent. No amendments or substantive debate were recorded on the ordinance during this meeting; the council will consider public comment and formal adoption at the Jan. 27 hearing.
