Wendy Harrington, chairman of the Cemetery Committee, asked the board to approve construction of a 3-foot-wide walking path at Oak Lawn Cemetery. Harrington said the contractor Troy Olofson would complete the work for $13,500 and described how the path would be built: "the walkway will be a 6-inch gravel base with a packed surface."
Chairman Edward B. Beattie and the Selectmen discussed cemetery budget lines and how gravestone repairs have been funded historically; Beattie said the items should be "revisited during Budget Review." After discussion, Vice-Chair Lou Gargiulo moved and Selectman Mark R. Lane seconded the motion to approve $13,500 for the Oak Lawn roadway; the motion passed unanimously.
