Tenafly reviews leaf-disposal costs and potential shared facility after rising fees

Borough Administrator David P. He said compacted leaves are a large factor behind the cost and that a facility would require roughly seven acres.
Councilmember Lauren Dayton asked whether Tenafly could share leaf-disposal services with neighboring Cresskill; Mayor Mark Zinna suggested conducting a survey and asked Mr. Fanslau to return with concepts. Mr. Fanslau said Andy Hipolit will attend the council meeting on January 27 to discuss leaf-facility options. The council did not adopt any funding decisions at this meeting.
