Lyon County commissioners approve $196,019.79 in warrants, $381,677.39 payroll and cancel aged warrants

The board voted to approve Warrants Payable for Aug. 1, 2025 in the amount of $196,019.79 and Payroll Payable for Aug. 1, 2025 in the amount of $381,677.39. The minutes record the motions as: "To Approve Warrants Payable for 08/01/2025 in the amount of $196,019.79" and "To Approve Payroll Payable for 08/01/2025 in the amount of $381,677.39." Each motion passed on a 3-0 vote.
Commissioners also approved Payroll Withholding Payable for Aug. 1, 2025 totaling $283,748.30 (motion recorded as "To Approve Payroll Withholding Payable for 08/01/2025 in the amount of $283,748.30"). In separate motions the board canceled two groups of outstanding warrants 12 months and older: numbers 73571–74600 totaling $1,545.66, and numbers 223799–314183 totaling $2,780.10. Both cancellations passed 3-0.
These votes were recorded as routine consent actions; no discussion of disputed items or line-by-line budget changes appears in the minutes.
