RPC to return Aug. 19 on Flexible Sizing dwelling-unit draft

The Planning Board reviewed draft language (Appendix C) renaming 'Fractionalized Housing Units' to 'Flexible Sizing Dwelling Units' and setting out dimensional requirements, applicability in the POR District, Town Center, and the Wetland Conservation District, and calculations for flexible unit sizing. Rockingham Planning Commission representative Jennifer Rowden presented a fact sheet comparing the traditional zoning scenario to the proposed flexible-sizing approach.
Rowden told the Board she will attend the August 19 meeting to finish the draft and then arrange a public information session. The Board did not take action on substantive text at the July 29 meeting; the item will return for further review and community outreach.
