County approves FY27 bailiff and security contract with Sixth District Court

The Kane County Board of Commissioners approved the Fiscal Year 2027 bailiff and security contract with the State of Utah Sixth District Court at the June 9 meeting. Sheriff Tracy Glover briefed the board, saying the contract includes a marked funding increase from prior years intended to make court contributions more equitable for staffing and security needs.
“Motion to approve the Fiscal Year 27 Bailiff and Security Contract with the State of Utah Sixth District Court as presented made by Commissioner Kubeja and motion carried with all commissioners present voting in favor,” the minutes record. Commissioner Patty Kubeja moved the approval and the vote was unanimous.
