Committee members were split on the need for immediate, in-depth study versus a high-level starting document. One member suggested including the effort in next year’s capital budget to fund consultants who could prepare the full plan; the Chair said she would rather prioritize funding actual improvements than "another study." The committee tasked staff to clarify the MPO scope and return with a recommendation about extent and resourcing.
