Surplus auction brings proceeds to departments; some items went unsold

Rhett Hansen presented results from the county surplus auction. Hansen said most items met or exceeded reserve prices but several specific items ' including a water wagon, laser level equipment and a chipper ' did not sell. The minutes record that proceeds from sold equipment will be distributed back to the departments that owned those items.
The Board received the update; there was no separate motion recorded to alter the disposition. Staff will coordinate return of proceeds and determine next steps for unsold items, which may include re-listing or alternative disposal methods.
