Claymont board approves 2026 meeting schedule and committee assignments

The Claymont City Board of Education approved a regular meeting schedule for 2026, to be held at 6:00 p.m. at the Administrative Office on the second Monday of each month, with scheduled dates from Jan. 12 through Dec. 14 and a special meeting set for June 30. The schedule was adopted as part of Items A–O approved during the organizational meeting on Jan. 12.
The board also confirmed committee and representative assignments. Among the assignments recorded were Martha Campbell as OSBA Legislative representative, Lois Grandison as OSBA Student Liaison, Solomon Peters and Michelle Wolf on the Policy Committee, Cyndy Host as Buckeye Career Center representative, and various members on Curriculum & Instruction, Safety, Finance and other committees. The organizational motion passed on roll call.
