Jordan Campbell presented PDC case 173161 against Amber Kent for a late C1. Kent said she did not receive the notice until it landed in her junk mail folder and that when she first filed she had mistakenly typed her name rather than using the 'I certify' control; she later refiled with staff assistance. "I think that is probably what happened... I apologize, sir," Kent said.
Chair Leach said staff could not verify the original May attempt from the system but accepted the candidate's explanation and dismissed the complaint. He cautioned Kent about junk mail filters and advised technical review of email settings so PDC notices do not go unread. The commission entered no penalty in this matter.
