The board also accepted a $5,000 donation from the Uhrichsville Eagles earmarked for the 'Girls with Pearls' program at the Intermediate School. On the motion to approve the treasurer's recommended items, Mrs. Host moved and Mr. Peters seconded; the minutes record a roll call with Ms. Campbell, Mrs. Grandison, Mrs. Host, Mr. Peters and Mrs. Wolf each voting yes.
The actions were taken during the Jan. 12 regular meeting at the Claymont Administrative Office. The board did not record further conditions tied to the donation in the minutes.
