At its July 20 meeting the Menomonie City Council approved the issuance of a 'Class A' liquor license to Corner Store MN, LLC, doing business as Marathon at 2302 South Broadway St. The motion was made by Councilmember Pickard, seconded by Councilmember Luther, and carried unanimously.
The council also approved a set of license renewals for the 2026-2027 license year (various Class B/Class A licenses and a massage therapy facility) and temporary permits including a mobile food vendor. The council approved the July 20 claims list, which lists totals of $13,576.18 for general claims (items include Monarch Paving at $8,564.60 and others) and $1,043.45 for parking utility claims.
The minutes record vendors and amounts included in the claims list but do not indicate contested claims or any withheld payments; claims were approved by roll-call vote.
