Mayor Crowe praises staff for water-event response; council to review I-4 data-center zoning draft Aug. 3

Mayor Crowe opened the July 20 meeting by thanking city staff for their work during the emergency water event experienced in Menomonie the prior week. During public comment, resident Nicole Manson expressed support for the city's handling of the water event and commended staff for their response.
Crowe also told the council that on Aug. 3 they will review a draft I-4 data center zoning ordinance and that, during an August meeting, the council will begin public review of an abandoned building registration ordinance. Crowe additionally noted community events including the Dunn County Fair and a downtown Vision Workshop at Hive & Hollow taking place the following day.
