Planning Director Katie Gruenberg presented a fee-waiver request from the Northwest Michigan Invasive Species Network, a 501(c)(3) that partners with the Manistee County Conservation District. Gruenberg noted the group had received a waiver in 2024 and is requesting the county again to waive fees associated with parcel shapefile data to support mapping and field work in Manistee County.
The committee voted to recommend approval of the fee waiver request. The packet includes the request as Appendix D. The minutes record the motion and outcome: "Moved by Gustad, seconded by Schmidt to recommend approval of the fee waiver request for Northwest Michigan Invasive Species Network with GIS Shapefile. Ayes: All. Absent: Dontz. Motion Carried."
