The Claymont City Board of Education approved the financial report for February 2026 and authorized payment of bills for the month, following a presentation by Treasurer Kim Beckley. The board also approved resolutions accepting amounts and rates as determined by the Tuscarawas County Budget Commission and certifying necessary tax levies to the county auditor, including Permanent Improvement 4.2 mills ($1,241,000) and Current Expense (General) 20.5 mills ($5,300,000). On roll call vote the motion carried with all trustees voting yes.
The board additionally voted to participate in and request assistance from the OSBA Legal Assistance Fund and approved minutes from recent regular and special meetings.
