Town Administrator announces Special Town Meeting June 29 and planning hearings

Town Administrator Mari Enoch reported that a Special Town Meeting on June 29 at 7:00 p.m. will vote on the SBRSD assessment (assessment numbers expected after the SBRSD meeting on June 3); she also noted a Planning Board public hearing tonight at 7:00 p.m. and a Conservation Commission bylaw submission for the Special Town Warrant.
Town Administrator Mari Enoch updated the Select Board on several near-term calendar items: a Special Town Meeting is scheduled for June 29 at 7:00 p.m. to vote on the SBRSD assessment; Mari said she expects the assessment figures will be available within 48 hours of the SBRSD School Committee meeting on June 3. She also reported the Planning Board will hold a public hearing that same night at the Fire House at 7:00 p.m. to discuss proposed zoning bylaw revisions.
Mari further noted that the Conservation Commission intends to submit a general bylaw to establish a fee schedule for conservation applications for the Special Town Warrant and that registered voters will receive postcard notices about Town Meeting. She added that she will be on vacation the week of June 15 and warned of a temporary closure/delay on Norfolk Road related to roadwork.
