State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors approves 29 initial licenses

The State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors voted unanimously to approve 29 initial licensure applications at its virtual interim meeting on June 11, 2026. The board considered a packet of applications listed in Addendum A and recorded the action as a single motion.
Robert Fyda moved to approve the applications; Angelo Spata seconded the motion and the board voted to approve all applications unanimously. The minutes state, "The motion passed unanimously." The board did not record individual roll-call votes in the minutes beyond the unanimous outcome.
Board staff noted there were no requests for waivers of requirements under Nevada Revised Statutes or the Nevada Administrative Code Chapter 625. The board also recorded that there were no public comments submitted virtually or via email during either public comment period.
The meeting convened at 9:15 a.m., and Chair Brent Wright adjourned the meeting at 9:21 a.m. Executive Director Mark Fakler signed the minutes as recorded.
