"One of the things I want people to know is that the sobriety court saves you all taxpayers a lot of money because the people who subordinate themselves to that program get better and get sober," Gatesman said, urging the board and community to consider his experience with those programs as a qualification for the bench. He described being a private practitioner and his admission to federal courts and the Sixth Circuit as experience he would bring to the role.
Gatesman concluded by asking for support as his campaign continues.
