Resident raises market-access, flag concerns; local applicant introduces himself

Two members of the public spoke during the public-comment period. Tom Moore, a Mission Viejo resident, described walking the farmer's and night markets and told commissioners some parts of the new walkway and seating area are difficult to access from the market. "There's no place to access it," Moore said, noting organizers had opened an end area for a recent night market but that middle access remained limited. He also asked that the City replace a faded California flag he observed on site.
Later, Jeff Creer introduced himself to the commission and said he has applied for appointment to the Community Services Commission. Creer said he has lived in Mission Viejo for about 30 years, described his interest in volunteering and serving on the commission, and noted his persistence and community commitment. "I've actually applied for an appointment to the commission to community services," he said.
Commissioners thanked the speakers and acknowledged staff would follow up on market-access concerns and flag replacement.
