Community Development Director David Pavlich presented Bill No. 39, a conditional use permit (CUP) application for a truck stop submitted by Pilot Travel Centers at 600 West 92 Highway. Pavlich told the board approval would accommodate a planned building addition of roughly 1,800 square feet and that the project includes installing sidewalk along 92 Highway and Shanks Avenue up to the building.
The board voted 4–0 to approve the CUP on second reading and adopted Ordinance No. 1702‑2026. The motion to approve was moved by Alderman Spencer and seconded by Alderman Holt.
