Building and program administrators summarized school-level activities at the Sept. 15 meeting. Chris Marana reported NWEA testing, an October Learning Lab start, playgroups beginning Oct. 8 and fire prevention on Oct. 9, and a memorial bench installation for Marsha Fraser. Griffin Lawson confirmed NWEA completion at ARMS, a Clear Lake trip for 7th graders this week, that middle school robotics has started, and that a STEM event at Northern Michigan University is planned for 7th graders.
Cliff Fossitt said NWEA testing at the high school will begin next week, first-round safety drills are complete, and student council members will attend a leadership summit in Munising. Eric Warlin reported transportation operations are managing many extra sports trips. These items were presented as routine administrator reports; no formal board action was required.
