At its June 16 meeting the Alliance City Council recorded the following formal outcomes: all motions listed below passed by unanimous roll call unless otherwise noted.
- Consent Calendar: Approved (motion by Councilman Hitchcock; second Mashburn). Payroll: $588,775.86; Claims: $1,183,430.58. - Resolution No. 26-52 (CRA Redevelopment Plan): Adopted (motion by Councilman Turman; second Mashburn). - Ordinance No. 3019 (2026 meeting calendar/time): Adopted after suspension of readings; Council established 5:30 p.m. as the regular meeting start time. - Ordinance No. 3020 (fireworks code amendment): Adopted after suspension of readings. - Resolution No. 26-53 (ban sale and discharge of consumer fireworks): Adopted; ban effective through Dec. 31, 2026.
Mayor McGhehey declared the ordinances passed and ordered them published: "the passage and adoption of Ordinance No. 3019 has been concurred by majority of all members elected to the Council; I declare it passed, adopted and order it published." The meeting adjourned at 8:26 p.m.
