Redmond said the recent parade was successful and thanked residents and businesses for cooperation; "But it went well," she said. Commissioners flagged that many volunteers attend church on Sundays, creating staffing challenges if the parade remains on July 4. The commission directed staff to include the discussion in the August e-newsletter and to continue exploring options so a formal decision can be made before next summer.
