Owner-agent contract active; All World says RFP and MWBE outreach planning underway

Chris Acuff of All World Project Management reported the joint-venture owner-agent contract was executed in November and that the joint team has held kickoff meetings with Regional 1 executives and service leaders. "We completed that contract, entered that contract back in November," Acuff said, describing regular coordination with Regional 1 and planning work to align space and program needs for a rebuild.
Acuff said the owner-agent team is beginning to strategize community outreach and what initial RFQ/RFP processes will look like; the team is also helping test business-model cases and is pulling program needs to shape procurement packages. When asked whether RFPs will include MWBE outreach components, Acuff said the team is committed to a good-faith effort to include NWBE participants and is strategizing how best to structure procurements so minority- and women-owned firms can participate on this large, complex project.
Committee members suggested coordinating early with county ELC staff and local workforce and certification bodies to improve outreach and inclusion. All World said it will make note of those recommendations and circulate dashboard and outreach materials to committee members.
