Mission Viejo commissioners unanimously approved a conditional use permit for Latia Tacos & More (26861 Trabuco Road) to operate with outdoor seating and a Type 41 on‑sale (beer & wine) license.
Staff noted the outdoor seating is enclosed by a fence and planters and that the census tract currently has no active on‑sale licenses; the ABC allows up to four on‑sale licenses in the tract. Applicant Cedric Estrada said patrons will order beer at the cashier and can sit in the enclosed outdoor area; servers will not carry drinks outside. He also confirmed staff will complete required ABC training.
Staff recommended and the commission adopted the resolution approving PCUP2024‑0011. The approval is conditioned on the project meeting the findings and the draft resolution’s conditions, including appropriate alcohol training for managers and servers.
