The board also agreed to modify private‑duty pay rates but clarified those increased private‑duty rates will not be applied to town events where the town covers the cost (examples: community festivals).
The board reported that negotiations included counsel and that changes were made to comply with state statutes and to adjust language in the contract. The motion to approve the contract was moved, seconded, and approved by voice vote.
