Board members asked for clarifications about the transfer station cut to its budget last year and animal control payroll pressures related to extended animal care. Town staff noted that unusual animal treatment and a long‑term case drove additional coverage and overtime in the animal control line. The board approved the recommendation to forward the transfers to the Board of Finance by voice vote; the Board of Finance will consider the transfers at its next meeting.
