“...capacity to be around 1,000 students plus early childhood,” the presenter said, and showed renderings of classroom clusters, an outdoor classroom, and a two‑story media center. ATSR noted the site work involves coordination with local development and street access, and that contract documents are beginning with a planned bid in December 2024 and project completion aimed for fall 2026.
Architects also emphasized flexible furniture, maker spaces and integrated outdoor classrooms at every cluster, and described coordination with city planners for safe drop‑off and bus loop geometry. Board members asked about sustainability and native plantings for outdoor classrooms; architects said those details remain in design development.
