Board approves claims, OKs payroll direct deposit and sets up computer-quote follow-up

Clerk-Treasurer Alana Paumen presented the List of Claims/Disbursements; Vice Chairman Brandon Geyen moved to approve the claims, seconded by Supervisor Ryan Nelson, and the motion carried 4-0. Geyen also moved to approve payroll via direct deposit; that motion, also seconded by Nelson, carried 4-0.
The board reviewed a vendor quote for a new office computer and agreed to solicit a second quote before purchasing. Vice Chairman Geyen recommended adding laptops for supervisors to the equipment quotes. The board planned to discuss proposed projects and the upcoming budget at the Oct. 1, 2024 meeting.
