The Silver Creek Township board discussed possible uses for remaining ARPA funds at the Aug. 20 meeting, identifying a road project, an office computer, and the possibility of allocating part of the funds to hall flooring. Supervisor Ryan Nelson will gather estimates for hall flooring.
Separately, during New Business the board approved a purchase authorization for the maintenance department to buy a tack trailer. Vice Chairman Mike Helman moved to allow the maintenance department to spend up to $4,000 on a tack trailer; Supervisor Brandon Geyen seconded the motion and it carried 4-0.
The minutes do not specify exact ARPA funding balances dedicated to each option, procurement procedures for the trailer purchase, or anticipated delivery timelines. The board deferred the Wright County Code of Ordinances response form (solid waste) to the Sept. 3, 2024 meeting.
