Andy Christensen was sworn in as a Silver Creek Township supervisor during the board's Sept. 3, 2024 meeting after the board discussed the resignation of Chris Newman and moved to fill the vacancy. Vice Chairman Brandon Geyen moved to fill the board seat; Supervisor Ryan Nelson seconded and the motion carried 3-0.
Chairman Mike Helman then moved to approve the Aug. 20, 2024 minutes, a motion seconded by Geyen and carried 4-0. The board's action formally restored a full complement of supervisors following Newman's resignation and placed Christensen in the seat for the town's business going forward.
